While I love to accomplish sales at Ebay, I love to pass along savings onto people that otherwise couldn't afford regular price the excitement and expectations toward a sale make me feel just so happy I apply all my waken energy in great finds, process, market analysis, research, item description, marketing, closing the sale, packing and shipping then, then, the waiting period only to find out my "feedback" its like Christmas morning opening my presents when someone say Thank You, love my purchase, Seller recommended or A+++ or something in that neighborhood is truly appreciate it. Its a boost of energy, satisfaction, pride and encouragement to do it all over again. However, Frustration come more frequent that we'd like to see them. Someone, unconscious Jerks, unethical people and in my book they are part of that segment of the population that think that they are "entitled" to something not matter what if only bid on an item win the item in theory and not paying for it in a timely manner, not even in an un-timely manner, holding an item with obvious intention of NOT paying for it and total silence not an apology or explanation, only takes away from us Sellers the opportunity to sell that merchandise to other bidders, exercising complete disregard and disrespect for us Sellers and other buyers. While Ebay is a very well established company not to mention super Wealthy is also the perfect avenue to channel sales at a comfortable conditions and prices to everyone that want to use their services, shame is that some people have no minimal decency but, a huge entitlement. Normal syndrome only in America.

Thanksgiving the Magic of Kindness upon us REALLY?

Why do we Feel compelled to be nice, sympathetic, loving and even polite these days As a consumer added to my many years working for corp. America at different capacities I find rather hypocritical to see the overwhelmed greetings, wishes and the proverbial "have a Wonderful Thanksgiving" "watch out the calories" While I truly appreciate the thought I know in MOST cases is not natural and sincere, people say it because, we are conditioned to say it around this Holiday because it's "trendy" REALLY? Do we even know the true meaning of Thanksgiving and why we celebrate it every year in a rampage for the fastest and shortest way to the Feast table? Last weekend I went to the nearest Mall and asked several people of all ages what was the meaning of Thanksgiving for them and in MOST cases the answer was because, "there is a lot of food", because, "we get to eat Turkey fixed by Grand-Ma" because, "is a 4 day Holiday", except for a handful of people that had better idea of the real meaning of this Celebration. Putting that aside, I think most of you that give the kindness to read this note got the idea. Thanksgiving = Give Thanks, be grateful which brings me to my open point, look around you, people look more cheerful, kind, friendly, even polite oh! Really? Where do we keep all that the other 51 weeks of the years? Nasty, rude, inefficient, self entitle, lazy, forgetful etc. Why through the year we don't feel compelled to call family and friends to say hello, to see if they need any help and I help & help them, how about, volunteer at a Nursing Home or serve meals in a Shelter, how about say a sincere Thank You because, you bought my merchandise, how about say Thank You when you received excellent merchandise, great customer service at a fair prices, how about do something for someone without expecting a thing in return and be happy and cheerful about it. How about “sharing yourself” Why is it that saying Thank you the rest of the year is like pulling teeth off our mouth, so, please, don't tell me "I TEXT my Mom every week" and that's the problem we all got so much comfortable texting tweeting, or what a heck! Just keep up with the whole world posting your life in Facebook but sharing yourself with the very people that love you unconditionally hey! That's why we got Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving to all! Now I better Text Mom put 2 extra plates my girlfriend and her sister coming along.

Thank You for having the opportunity to Say "Thank You" I love Thanksgiving Day is such wonderful celebration, we all have something to celebrate and share with family and friends and what a better way to do so than, around Food as a Foodie Aficionado I'm truly looking forward this special seasonal festive dishes and very specially, when Mom and Grand-Ma prepared 'em, don't get me wrong I help however, I love to watch and learn all those family secrets that have been kept for generations and trough trial and error now they are the epic dash of flavor that everyone is salivating around our table. This is also time to be grateful for what we have, our family, our beautiful plentiful country, our health, our friends always there to lend a shoulder, be also Thankful for having a job that allow us to be self sufficient etc. we all know our special Thank you's Myself, being a firm believer of an Almighty Being, I Thank God every Day for this great borrowed opportunity to be alive and the freedom to enjoy all of this life that I truly love and I'm very fan of that, I can't get enough of. I also pray to God for peace among us, and allow all our Service Men and Women to come home safe and sound as soon as possible - only if it isn't too much to ask Dear God. Amen. In any case my friends Have a Wonderful, safe and plentiful Thanksgiving. Please don't forget those that have less that you, sharing is the key. NEW YORK CITY and Second Hand Smoke

Everything in Excess is Worst As I had the opportunity to visit NYC for first time in my life the excitement was hardly controllable, reservation already done and everything ready to take off it could be a very regrettably thing to cancel my trip due to the fact that Mr Winter decided to throw a horrible unusual Storm, blizzard, icy rain, etc. all the misery you might recall for those of us that know Winter Storms, that was all together in North East and part of Southern Estates well, at this point i think all of you reading this small post; saw the News unless Planet Earth is not your place of birth. At any rate, I had the best of intentions to enjoy and visit everything within my reasonable reach, snow, slushy and wet side walks make it very difficult to go places, and believe me you have to walk everywhere you go even, to get the Subway, the bitter cold weather was BRUTAL and (I'm use to cold however, this Cold was different), Broadway, Times Square, Lincoln Center, up and down Manhattan was a sure WALK, get a Cab? yeah! right, narrower streets and avenues due to extra displays of Security as the city was getting ready for big event "The Super Bawl" in New Jersey just a few miles away. So, because the tons of accumulated snow the waste management service was absent however, the presence of countless trash bags, boxes and all kind of debris on the side walks was very much standing steel and growing everyday. I guess I was so impressed by their love for Food, long streets left and right that's all you see, there is all kind of food, what they favorite more is Pizza & Sandwitches to go, many people get their meals and snacks while walking, of course after a good meal they smoke, heck, they smoke anytime anywhere, unbelievable! You see smokers everywhere, right outside the shops, or walking I got more second hand smoke in my lungs as I ever did before. The sidewalks are very uneven, many instances the concrete is sort of vertical with cracks & holes. The streets asphalt wasn't any better potholes, cracks and roads under construction. The city maintain a love affair with scaffolds and perennial renovation of buildings all through, the city is very congested in normal circumstances so it was expected however, this time my first time, was an eye opener of the greatest attraction that NYC has to offer, thousands and thousands of people walking up and down the road every single day, enough food to feed a small army in only 10 blocks, constant noise, sirens, people yelled at each other or to drivers, smokers in abundance, trashy side walks and people's attitude is indifference, standing together with other 30 people waiting to cross the street NONE, NONE make eye contact, or smile, or say hello, on the contrary they go in their way and you better step aside or change direction for they would bump on you, street kindness? Foreign concept. So, my friends for those first times going to NYC please, do not expect the glam of Sex in the City Show. Yes, I visited the Lincoln Center, Central Park, some very nice Restaurants, 1st. Class Malls, exclusive stores like Dash, Channel, Mark Jacobs, etc. among others. I learned to enjoy in my own way knowing for a FACT thatI was only a visitor and not a resident. The City is exciting, challenging and accelerating if you want to live and make a career there be sure to have, thick skin, skills, stamina a fat budget an a realistic plan then go for it! Would I visit again? If ever, it would not be in Winter for sure. "Nice talking with you" :)
